So I stayed up all night doing a 2-tier (on pillers!) wedding cake. Lilies-of-the-valley, Tiger lilies, Stargazer lilies, Calla lilies and hibiscus. Really pretty cake. Really. I go to bed at 3a.m, just woke at 10 only to find that it's been steadily raining through the night! All the flowers are drooping and a few petals broke as they softened, too. I screamed, then grabbed a couple lamps and placed them strategically to provide heat. Wedding's at 3, pick-up's at 1.  I'm hoping the lamps work, but I've started making replacement flowers.

I'm praying. Really. Right now there are angels scratching their halos and asking "Arlene WHO?"

ughhhhhh -  hoping that everything dries for you.... its times like this one could just bang ones head against the wall - isn't it?

I hope everything worked out!! I have awaken to a disaster plenty times on my cakes, it's hard not to just SCREAM!!! Post updates, I'd like to know what happened.

Disaster averted! Barely. I still had to do some clean-up work: the top borders were lower than they were originally, so I piped an extra border , Replaced a couple flowers, and added a couple more. They liked it and -of course- couldn't tell that I'd been calling on the Fates earlier.  My camera died so I can't post pics. But thank you for commiserating with me earlier. Cake Central is the best!
