AI am a homebaker in a small town. Visited a local Grocery store and decided to check out the prices. I was in disbelief of the prices of wedding cakes. A two tier wedding cake is $48 a three tier is $125. I have three tier wedding cakes that $125 may not cover the supplies. How do you complete with that? There are last minute brides who have over budget their weddings and choose these low priced cakes. How can I advertise to brides and compete with the local markets.

AYou are not a grocery store. You are Not competing with them. The 2 of you have Very different target audiences. Their client is not your client!

Just remember that even though Kia exists in the world, Ferrari still sells cars. There are customers for both.

AYes this is also true custumeczar. I decided not to lower my price and the quality of my cakes to make a dollar. Love what I do and my customers do too.
