So I am going to be selling cupcakes at a event, that will mainly have women and kids.My plan is to make themed cupcakes and and regualar ones like chocolate, vanilla, oreo. Does this sound like a good idea, to have some hello kitty ones, monster high ones and a uni*** one like angry birds? What are some themes that anyone who answers would do? I also plan on making 3 or 4 mini dummy cakes to go with the theme that I choose, to show I also do cakes. Any respones would be so helpful.

Vintage is very in at the moment and appeals, to most woman in the age bracket of around 18-70 plus ;-) hello kitty is a must yes!! For boys im thinking cars? spiderman?

Popular flavour cupcakes are:

Orero

Millionaires shortbread

vanilla

chocolate

Lemon

Hope this helps

sounds like a fun event, but is there a way you can do themes without entering into copyright infringement?

Vintage is great, also do generic themes geared towards kids. Sure Hello Kitty is cute and all, but it's also illegal for you to do so unless you are simply going to place toppers on, in which case most anyone could do that and it wouldn't really showcase your talent.
