AI need hot pink fondant, and bought Duff's, but it is very neon rather than hot pink. Can I mix it with red or purple fondant to get more of a hot pink color? Thank you!

Absolutely. Just take a small ball, about the size of a large marble, and mix a dab of purple in, and see if it is the color you are going for. If so, do the rest, if not, try another color, in another ball of fondant. Maybe it needs a blue, or purple, or another shade of pink, or red, or a combination. Color matching is a real knack for some, and takes a lot of trial and error for others. It is hard to say if we can get the color we are going for right off the bat.

Definitely hold it up to the color you are going for, and see if you "see" the missing color. If your fondant looks a bit yellowy, add purple, if it seems too red, add a bit of blue. The key is to add just a dab at a time, because sometimes all you need is the tiniest dab, and 2 tiny dabs makes mud, or grey!!
