I see that ruffled rose design on a lot of cakes.  I have figured out that it has to be strips of fondant/gumpaste or 50/50.

Is there a tutorial.  I've been looking and can't find one.  Added this pic to give you an idea.  If anybody can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

I found this tutorial on pinterest a while back. I think you could use this whole technique and repeat it around the cake. Hope this helps icon_smile.gif

There's a tutorial sold at Sharon Wee's website.

Look at the bottom.

By the way, Sharon Wee will have a craftsy class very soon. Not sure if that specific cake will be one of the projects.

I did check out the site.  The prices she quotes are in their money value system.  Do any of you know what that equates to in the dollar system?

I believe it will be $7.94 but I'm still waiting for it to come thru my bank (I used Paypal)  Although it says $7.50, I know it will change.  It's a downloadable tutorial.  Looks like it's not hard just time consuming.

I went ahead and bought it.  I googled an exchange rate and didn't seem that much.  I'm pretty sure its about there.  Thank you.
