I am new to this forum and my only real website is my facebook page. I have looked and can't seem to find any rules that say I shouldn't link it. Do you know if this is okay?

Also, any pointers on posting cookies here? Should I continue to load them in one album, or does it matter?

Any advice on Cake central would be so appreciated.

Thank you so much.

Jacinda

AThere is a thread here called 'Share your Facebook page!' maybe you could start there, or add it to your profile info, I just clicked on your profile to have a look at it but it wasn't there :(

Thank you so much. I will look that up now.

I added it to my cookie photos, but will also add it to my profile.

Thanks again

You can add your website/facebook to your signature line.  You cannot add your website/facebook to the body of your posts "just because" and you cannot start a thread that says "Hey!  Look at my Facebook!"  We consider that solicitation of our membership.

Welcome to CC, and that you for getting clarification!

Oops, I did not know this. I included my website in the body of some of my recent posts, so will cease and desist immediately!  Not sure how to put it in my signature line, so if anyone knows, please let me know.

It's perfectly fine to include your web site in the body of your post as long as it is on topic.

Assuming you did not create the topic of course.

Oops, I did not know this. I included my website in a few of my recent posts, so will cease and desist immediately! :) I just added that info to my signature line instead. Good to know.

Sorry, I'm also not good at these forums. Just posted this twice. Gack!

Hi, I'm pretty new too, so not sure I know all the ins and outs. But if you click on your account name, a page should open up with your Community Profile at the top. Edit it (if you haven't already); then scroll down past your Photos area, and you'll see a block called Forum Signature, which you can edit to add links, photos and what not. It only affects how your signature appears in these chat areas as far as I can tell (signature doesn't show up when you post a photo, unfortunately), but this block is where I added what you see in my signature line directly below, including "Live sweetly" and everything underneath that. Hope I've helped a bit!

Just a heads up from me.  You cannot post any links in the cake photo descriptions.   That includes your website or Facebook information.  The cake description portion of the galleries is just for a description of the cake.

There is place on your member profile specifically for you to provide a link to your website.
