I have to make a sheet cake for someone who is leaving the job on Wednesday and moving to Alaska and I was wondering if anyone can suggest what I can put on this cake to cover the Alaska theme. Has anyone seen pictures of this theme so that I can get an idea? I was just asked this morning (I am not a procrastinator...lol) Thanks!

How about getting and applying an edible print of something like this:

Mount McKinley (Denali), PD image by the National Park Service, on Wikimedia Commons

Of course, you definitely want to use a PD, Creative Commons, or GPDL image.

Or you could always serve a Baked Alaska instead of a cake.

I thought about an edible print but was not sure if that's what I really wanted to do.  Thanks!

I just Googled "alaska themed cakes".  There was a ton of cakes for inspiration.  I personally like the idea of working in a moose.  :)
