Hi there  :)

Just wondering if anyone has tried making a Ninjago cake using the Wilton ball pan? I am only interested in making the Ninjago head, not the body, but I am wondering if the Wilton ball pan will be too round. Thought I would seek out some advice here to see if anyone else has tried this.

For those who don't know what Ninjago is, they are Lego Ninjas...lol!

Thanks in advance!

i have done one of these. the ball pan is definitely too round. i just did a few layers and allowed the top layer to rise a bit and left it like that. worked perfectly. perfect roundness. thumbs_up.gif

I used a slightly domed 6" round.  I think the ball pan would be too round.

Thanks for your suggestions! icon_biggrin.gif  What I ended up doing is one half of the batter using the Wilton ball pan and the other half in a six inch cake pan and it worked out pretty well.....my friend was super impressed! I think next time I will put less batter in the Wilton ball pan and divide the rest into my two six inch to make the sides a little taller and the top a little less round.
