I am starting a small business of cupcakes, cakes cookies banners, etc. I need a catchy name for the business, and completely out of ideas. Everything I come up with is already taken :(. Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank You,
Heather
AWhat is your competitive advantage? That is, why would customers purchase from you instead of your competitors?
I offer not just the sweet, but i do the toppers, banners, invites planning etc.One stop shop for any occasion.
I looked into those, and unfortunately they already are being used. :( Thank you SO much for your reply though!

I do more than the baking side, I also do the event planning, the decorations etc.

Where are they being used? Are you taking your business Nationwide? If you're just sticking to your local area, it doesn't matter if the name is being used in Kentucky. Are you worried about domain names or something?
Yeah usually the domain name and I didn't know if it matters if the name is being used out of state. I just thought if its being used I cant use it. But i guess if it stays local it shouldn't matter.
I think it's even okay if it's in the same state just as long as it's not the same County, if they've registered the name with the County? Check here:
How about Princess Parties and Pastries or Penguin Parties and Pastries??
What if you used a slogan to explain that you are more than just cupcakes. Something like
PartyCakes "providing the whole party AND the cake"
or "not just cake...the whole party"
Something to that effect. BTW, I went with CupcakeDuJour Cupcakery but I fall in the same category as you so I had to explain myself all over my cards and such that I provide printables, favors, cupcakes, sweet treats and more!
Good Luck!! :)
How about "Confections & Celebrations" "not just cake . . . the whole party!"
"Let's Party!"
slogan: ummm, okay...something catchier than "your complete party and event store"...yeah, that's all I got.....sorry...
