Hello CCC (Cake Central Community), I am new to CC as well as cake decorating. I recently received an order for a Choc on Choc stacked round cake (8" On top of 9"). The customer wants absolutely NO FONDANT and said the cake is a congratulations cake for her sister who is having twin girls. I am trying to get some ideas for a nice cake that conveys the theme but with chocolate. She is open to the idea of me piping borders and accents with colored frosting as long as it doesn't interfere with the overall Chocolate taste. Any help you can provide would be super appreciated. Thanks!

Have you ever worked with modelling chocolate? You could get the fondant finish with chocolate. Ganache is also an option. These two options are as chocolate as it gets.

You could of course just go with chocolate buttercream.

I googled chocolate baby shower cake. This one is so cute!

I also like the idea of just piping in various shades of chocolate, ie white, milk, dark.
