I am working on making this cake.  Do you think the tiers are the same size cake rounds? I have 6 inch, 9 inch, and 10 inch rounds.  Which size would you use?  Also do you think the white swirls for the butterflies is floral wire?  Any thoughts on what tips were used for the flowers and leaves?

Any input is appreciated!

yes floral wire

67 or 66 leaf

drop flower tube 131, 225 or something like that

it always seemd that one type, one size drop flower was my favorite and i never cared for the others

this one looks like the df tube/tip with the little arm inside

the top tier actually looks a bit bigger than the bottom tier

but yeah i'd just make two same size tiers then cut one to stack it into three tiers

the top two tiers are one tier cut off center like that to stack up

you could make it any size you want to correspond with the toy/boat thing in the middle

pretty cake

Thanks so much for the info and tips!  I'm a little less overwhelmed.  Your tip suggestions gave me the starting place I needed.  Now I'm getting excited! icon_biggrin.gif
