Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked before...I did have a look but couldn't find the answer anywhere....

I am going to make some rose topped cake pops for my friend's birthday, it will be my first attemp at them. Due to restricted time, I don't really have time to mould flowers from chocolate or fondant or anything.

I was wondering....would I be able to cover the cake pops in melted chocolate/candy coating, and then pipe roses on top from buttercream? Or does buttercream not work here?

I am very open to other suggestions :)

Thanks,

Vicky

AI wouldn't think so unless it was decorators buttercream? I would think that a thick royal icing would word best for you. HTH
