Ladies, i really need help. I'm a hobby baker and I'm going to make my friend's wedding cake. She wants one large cake and cupcakes. It's to feed 100. How many cuppies would you suggest and what size cake (it will be round). Many thanks xxx

You want everyone to have a cupcake and a slice of cake?  Or cake for some, cupcakes for others?

why not use the cupcakes as the wedding favours for everyone to take home and make the cake big enough for everyone to have a small piece at the reception?

Can you do a tiered cake?  A 7" + 9" round would be about 50 servings.

Kinda stumpy looking, don't you think? Not sure how fancy you're trying to get OP, but a 5-7-9 for 53 servings, on a pretty pedestal surrounded by cupcakes on other stands would look really nice.
