Heavenly cake pop roller... Yikes... - Page 3

Hello ladies, I am interested in trying this gadget out... they have them on sale for 99$ plus 20$ off so 79$ not bad... but I as well as all of you do not want to be stuck with paying full price and not having success with it!!!  anyone interested in selling theirs.  I figure if you didn't like it why get stuck with it at least the cost of it could be shared right!! :-D... Thank you ladies... BTW anyone interested in ordering it at 79$ I would suggest you do it soon before their sale runs out..

They do have their cake pop recipe posted i their fb page now. I've heard some people find success to using icing and using a food processor instead.

I won one in a cake wars contest, and I already have one so I don't need it. If anyone is interested, pm me.

I watched "save my bakery"the  other night and she used it on there.  It worked wonderful for her.  She patted out a square from the leftover cake and icing, then she made the rolls and then used three rolls laid the other way and made the pops.  Maybe if you try less rolls sideways, it would work better.  I was intrigued when I saw the show but $100 is a lot of money.  I will be rolling them by hand!

I saw that show also.  It was interesting that she took the rock hard stale chocolate cake scraps, added some chocolate frosting, put it all in a Cuisinart, made a big patty of the mixture, then put it in the cake roller as you described.    intriguing for sure.

Off topic I apologize....but how was the show?

simply put, it was similar to Buddy Velastro's show.

Now If Kerry Vincent came to my kitchen she wouldn't have to waste time cleaning, repairing, painting, throwing out rotten stale food.   She could just spend the whole time explaining her winning techniques to improve my decorating, and I'd bow to her mastery and listen to every word she had to say

We weigh each of ours and hand roll them so that they all are the same size cake pops icon_smile.gif I think the roller is way over priced and does not give you the effects you need or achieve by hand rolling.
