I mixed my first batch of sugarveil and it has been in the refrigerator, covered for 20 hours now. (when I put it in the fridge it looked exactly like it did on the video)  I took it out of the fridge and mixed for one minute and it did not go back to its original fluffy stage. It looks more like melted marshmellows. So I mixed for another minute, and it looks the same. Is this normal, or did I do something wrong?

an idea for you is to check with the sugar veil people

they are really good at trouble shooting that for you

but lots of cakers here use it too--i never had any luck with it myself

Thank you. I did contact sugarveil, but didn't expect to get a quick reply. I recieved one in less than 2 hours!  I have been nothing but impressed with this company from the beginning of my journey with them. They have been so helpful and kind, from the ordering process, to a return, now to help with working on it. She assured me it was normal for it the texture of it to change, and just keep working with it! I did, and my sugarveil was dry between 2 and 4 hours. (I have 6 mats) and three of them turned out perfect, and the three more detailed ones turned out well, but I didn't give a good enough scrape at the end and that shows. .....learning....thats what this round was all about!
