I have a chocolate cake recipe that I love, the recipe calls for using a 9x13 pan or 2 9inch round pans.  My questions is, how do I calculate this recipe to make 2 8inch rounds and 24 cupcakes?  I have a copy of the chart that I've seen people post for questions like this on how many cups of batter for what size pans, but the chart is for 2 inch and 3 inch high pans, and I only have the basic 1 1/2 inch pans and it doesn't address cupcakes.  Will doubling the recipe be enough?

Thanks for your help!
