Not sure if this is the right forum, but I need help. My 600 KA pro died and is in need of repair. A dear friend and cake muggle gave me a KA 550 pro plus. It seems that the beaters, whisk, dough hook are compatible with the 550 as is the bowl. The bowl seems to be taller above the lift brackets making the distance to the bottom of the bowl the same. I do not want to damage the KA 550. Any advice or knowledge you are willing to share? I would like to do some holiday baking today.

Go online to the Kitchen Aid site. They should have answers to FAQ that will tell you what is compatible with what, and how to adjust the height.
