hello everyone!!! does anyone know how to make a gelatin snow globe for a cake topper. I have an idea just want to see if anyone has any ideas. I have not been able to find anything on google or youtube.
Not out of gelatin, but I have seen them from isomalt - check out the pictures on this blog, you could probably use google translate for it: http://www.mensajeenunagalleta.com/web/2012/11/como-hacer-una-bola-de-nieve-completamente-comestible/
Thank you I will look into it. I found how to make bubbles out of gelatin, with ballons so that is what i was going to try just with a bigger ballon.
Hi Sweetheaven,
Here is a link to making gelatin bubbles or balloons. It is a fun process and you can do many things with them. To make a snow globe, simply cut the opening large enough to set it over a gumpaste or fondant figure you've chosen. It will make a lovely topper, just don't try to shake it to make it "snow"!

Oooops, I just now see that you have already figured out how to make it. They are a lot of fun to make and can be used in many ways besides snow globes. It's a cool technique.
