No what takes the cake is the fact that she just texted me telling me I can use the Jordache horse image since it's just a head.  Really? REALLY???? This is all after I was saying how much time these cakes take, how I have no time- working full time at a job...Geesh.....

Yes, and if that Jordache horse head logo is a registered trademark, and they're fussy about enforcing it, you could end up with a horse's head in your bed.

LOL...no intention of using the logo....maybe that's the cake I'll do a horse's head in a bed!

Maybe you should LEAVE a horse's head CAKE in her bed! Just a small one, nothing fancy.

3 years ago I called a local bakery inquiring about a birthday cake for my daughter's 14th birthday.  I had just started getting into watching all the cake shows on TV and thought it would be really special to get a small tiered cake.  So I asked the bakery about a small 2 tiered cake, "something basic that would only feed 8-10 people" .  Obviously I had no idea about caking.  The lovely lady on he phone was so nice, she said they didn't do anything that small and suggested that I call the grocery chains to see if they do mini cakes or to look at craft stores for mini cake pans.  Bless her heart.  Now that I know what I know about cake decorating I can just imagine what went through this lady's mind over the phone!  Hmmm, maybe she put me on this thread 3 years ago!

I ended up doing lots of research and made my daughters birthday cake myself.  WHOA!! Tons of work and tons of time!  Did 3  tall tiers, purple, blue and white fondant with butterflies and pink fondant bow and trim. Obviously not the best cake, but I enjoyed every step of the way , I been hooked since then.  Hobby baker for life!

1st cake decorating endeavor for my daughters 13th birthday

Of course, instead of a horse's head cake, you could do a cake with another portion of the horse's anatomy.
