You have every right to be offended. She is one who needs to be educated about the real price of cakes/cupcakes. true. I never gave a hoot about anything once the rings and clothes were bought. the chef hired and the dj paid. It wasn't perfect heck it was sooooo lazy-cheap it was hilarious. noone realized or complained because they had a whale of a time. people need to realize the volume of fun the guests have is not related to the amount of money spent. I dont think my "friend" gets that. as long as peoples guts are filled with tasty food and there is music in the air Caribbean people are going to dance up a storm even with no liquor.

I just had my first Bridezilla! She was an old work colleague/kind of friend. She had changed her mind on the design three times, then changed her mind on whether she wanted sugar flowers, fresh flowers or fake flowers.
She messaged me on Saturday to check what the size of the top tier was so she could get the fake flowers made up in the right size and I had mentioned that I hadnt recieved my invite yet, but she said she had sent it, so she gave me the details in a text message.
Last night I emailed her the order form/agreement to fill out, sign and send back to me. It is required of all my brides to fill it out, so I have all the contact details of the venue, and the earliest set up time etc.
This is how the conversation went afterwards (She is red):

Could you please fill in the details regarding the venue details, and read and sign the other parts.

It is up to you whether or not you continue to order your wedding cake through me or not, but you do need to tell me as I do not want to refuse orders for that week if you decide not to continue with the order.
It is a requirement to order one that you fill out that form and agree to the conditions, you are able to post it to me if you do not have access to a scanner.

Well a bubble bath does sound nice... I am very happy, I wasn't really looking forward to doing it as it was. I had given her a discount and it was $10 over her "budget" so that could be why she was so weird.
But I have a few theories as to what has led to her crazy bridezillaness:
- her friend who had taken a class and offered to make the sugarflowers to put on top of my cake, has said she will make the cake cheaper/for free
- she has just gone crazy and decided it was all to hard to do her signature so will go without a cake
- the weddings been called off
- they've run out of money
I'm really hoping that she will end up realising she can't get another cake that price and comes crawling back... and when she does I will be all booked that week... and in my bubble bath of course!

The only mistake you made with this was not ending it right after she wrote this to you. I would have replied "Okay" and left it at that. She's obviously up to something weird so who cares, have a nice sleep-in on your day off.
