I am making cupcakes this morning and was wondering if I only have one cake mix can I double the cake mix extender to give me the yield of two cake mixes? Will this effect the taste or texture too much? AN ASAP response will be appreciated. this is the cake mix extender I am using:

Bunnywoman extender

1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 egg
1/2 cup water

Have a great holiday season!

I don;t use mixes so I can't tell you if doubling just the extender will give you a delicious product, but doubling the extender and using one box of mix will NOT give you double the volume of one box mix and one extender.  It is simply not the same amount of ingredients.  1.5x maybe.
