Take a look at the attached picture of these super cute penguin cookies (Corrie Cakes design). The black RBC has bleed onto the base RBC color. The black was several days old so not newly colored. I used a tiny amount of corn syrup to adhere the penguin, but I've done that before without any bleeding.

Any ideas on how to avoid?? Should I let the base color dry overnight? Let the penguin dry overnight?
