AI have been getting asked for business cards more and more here lately but in order to make business cards I should probably have a name and logo to put on them, right? Lol. I have been dabbling a bit and really like the idea of putting Tweety Bird in the name. I lost a daughter and used to call her tweety bird because of her big blue eyes and bright golden hair, so it really means a lot to me. I just don't want to say 'Tweety Bird Cakes' though. I also want to make sure it's obvious I do cakes because I have yet to really explore any other sweets even though I may one day. And I didn't know if I could lawfully use Tweety Bird since it's a cartoon character? That might be a dumb question but I want to make sure I wouldn't get in any trouble. AND (as if i hadnt already asked enough questions) i have a great image in my head for a logo but how do you go about creating one without 'stealing' graphics offline, lol. I'm sure that isn't aloud huh? So does anyone have any suggestions? If I really can't come up with anything or am not aloud to use tweety bird, I thought about Sweet Sammy's Sweets (say that 5 times fast ;) but like I said before it suggests I do more than cakes....ugh...can you tell I'm confused and frustrated, lol.
AYou would probably be OK using "Tweety Bird" in the name of your business as long as you don't include pictures of the cartoon character, but to be safe you may want to stick to something like "Sammy's Sweets" or "Sweet Sammy's Bakery".
If you don't have graphic design experience your best bet is to hire a professional designer to create your logo. A good designer will work with you based on your ideas and/or sketches and come up with different options. Many graphic designers can also help you put together your web site.
Tweety Bird is cute and brings back fond memories for you, but just know that you will be asked about that name repeatedly. Maybe you won't mind constantly repeating the meaning behind the name, but it may make your customers a little uncomfortable. I feel sad just hearing about your loss.
I say use a different name and create a signature cupcake or cake called "Tweety Bird Cake"
Take care
AThat makes sense. I really didn't think of that! Thank you :)

AI am not sure if I could afford a designer. How much do they normally cost?
