I usually use the Wilton Ready Made Fondant on my cakes because I don't get a lot of orders for cakes covered in fondant, so I mostly just use it for accents. I need to make dragon scales but my clients son has food allergies to dairy and eggs. Do you guys have any suggestions as to what kind of fondant I could use and that would be easiest to make?

Well, as far as I've seen, the Wilton rolled fondant does not contain either eggs or dairy.

These are the ingredients that someone listed. Do they match what's on your package? If so, feel free to use it.

Ingredients: sugar, glucose syrup, hydrogenated vegetable oil (palm and rape seed), water, glycerine, tapioca starch, gum tragacanth (emulisifer), carboxymethyl cellulose (thickening agent), artificial flavor (vanillin), sodium acetate (preservative), and acetic acid (preservative).

Hello Kyceyp...

It would help to know where you are on planet earth - that way people can get an idea of what bought fondants are readily available to you.

Plus if you Google - *Ingrediants in Fondsnt* quiet a few pages of information do come up for you to read....
