Hi everyone,

I have a problem with a particular baking cup and I'm wondering if any of you can help me. When I bake cupcakes in normal cupcake wrappers they turn out fine but when I use the Robert Gordon baking cups (Liberty pattern) they bake a little lopsidedly and also come away from the paper as they start to cool.

The same recipe works fine in other cupcake wrappers. Any ideas on how to overcome this? I have a bride who desperately wants me to use the Robert Gordon Liberty pattern baking cups.

Should I just bake a sheet cake and then cut out mini cakes and use the baking cups she wants to present them in?

Thanks for your help!

Can you use a lining paper to bake in and then pop them in the nice ones after ?
