I have a cake that's due to the client this coming Sunday and I'm really tight on time this week. I've never made bows more than a day ahead of time. Any suggestions for making the bows and ribbons so then don't completely dry out on me? I'd like them somewhat pliable so I can arrange them on the cake on Saturday.

Thanks!
Nicole

You can make the bows ahead of time. If they will be placed on the side of the cake dry them on a former the size of your cake. If the bow will be sitting on top of the cake, dry them in the position they will be sitting. Add the dangling ribbons at the end so that they will hang naturally. HTH!
