Just wondering for those who have made corset/silhouette tiers...what size rounds did you start with and how many of each. any further guidance or tricks you learned along the way that you would be willing to share would be wonderful.

Thank you in advance for the assistance icon_smile.gif

Depends on the finished size you need/want. I just made one using 4 - 8" rounds and 2 - 7" rounds. I stacked two 8s and a 7 for each "half" and carved the waist down to a little over 5". I carved each half separately and then inverted the top onto the bottom, ending up with a cake approximately 10" tall. I prefer to have smooth carved curves and not have to fill in a horizontal ledge between layers with icing, so I use slightly larger rounds for the "waist" section.
