I am going to attempt making chocolate ganache and wanted to know if anyone would be able to give me some ideas on good chocolate to buy and any sources of where to purchase. I live in a small town, so the only things readily available are grocery store brands of chocolate. Does anyone have some name brands and online sources they could share?

Not sure were to order supplies online. But at work we use Callabout dark 60/40 chocolate chips. Do you have a company called restaurant depot the have that chocolate but in blocks. So you would have to chop it.

use a nice tasting eating dark chocolate, and I think in America you call it heavy cream, or whipping cream . Use a ratio of two parts chocolate one part cream. You should be able to find both of these at any supermarket.

Here I got both of these from a convenience store late last night as I forgot when I was shopping yesterday and had to make my ganache ready for today.
