Hi, I am wondering how I can quickly make a ball of yarn, I have already made the rice krispie treats as the balls and covered them in fondant but I am afraid it will take me for ever to make all the strings in my hands. I have borrowed a clay gun but it only spits out on string per time. Anything else you know I could possible use? icon_smile.gif

One person to pump out the string and one person to cover the ball with it as it comes out of the gun.

You don't need to use much string either--just enough to get the idea across.

Forgot to add that when I used this method I extruded the 'yarn' onto a piece of lightly greased wax paper, cut it to shape while on the paper and then used the paper to help me apply the patch of yarn to the ball, otherwise it all falls apart as you pick it up! Good luck!
