I am just getting into cake decorating, and I am curious as to what they make. I live in the Knoxville, Maryville, and Sevierville areas, and I was wondering if anyone knows what the average salary is. Does anyone know what are good places to work in this area?

Magpies is a pretty popular bakery in Knoxville. They have really great stuff and I have seen them post jobs for kitchen help before. I would call and talk to them or at least check out their website. Also, there is a girl in sevierville I think that works from home. I know she had posted at one time that she was selling some stuff at a place called the Tin Roof Cafe or something like that. I think her business is called AngelCakes. Her name is Angela Adkins and you could probably just google her. Maybe she would be willing to give you some tips on getting started or what kind of money you can expect in that area. I only know about her through seeing fb pics of a cake she did for a friend of mine form high school. Hope that helps!
