Can anyone direct me to a receipe for the gelatin used for encapsulated gelatin flowers? I can't seem to find an english version. Thanks
The following website has a video tutorial. The recipe runs on the screen as the video plays. It is in English, even though the music is not. Hope this helps.

Thank you...whenever I start one of the videos the picture goes away. Must be some setting I have that it doesn't like. I will keep trying.
Here is the recipes from the video.
Clear gelatin
1 liter water
4 tablespoons gelatin
1/2 cup water
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon citric acid
1 tablespoon clear flavoring of choice
1. Mix gelatin with 3 TB of sugar.
2. Hydrate gelatin mixture with 1/2 cup of water. Set aside.
3. Add 1/2 liter of water and remaining sugar. Heat until vapor point. Stirring constantly. Do not boil.
4. Add gelatin mixture to pan and stir mixture until completely dissolved.
5. Add rest of water and stir.
6. Add 1 tsp citric acid. Mix well.
7. Add flavoring.
8. Let sit in pan. Should go through a clarifying process in 15 - 30 minutes.
9. Pour into mold.
Milk Gelatin
2 3/4 cups milk
4 tablespoons gelatin
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup water
1 can condensed milk
1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
flavoring of choice
1. Mix 3 TB sugar with gelatin.
2. Add 1/2 cup of water. Stir. Do not over-mix.
3. Pour evaporated milk in measuring cup.
4. Add 3/4 cup milk to evaporated milk. You should have a total of 2 cups.
5. Add mixture to pan. Add 1 can of condensed milk. Stir so it doesn't stick. Heat to vapor point.
6. Add gelatin mixture and dissolve completely. Once dissolved, add remaining 2 cups milk and 1 TB flavoring. Ready to use.
Teresa - thank you for sending this to me. Can't tell you the difficulty I've been having getting this. You ROCK!
No problem. I had some difficulty playing the videos when I went back to the website, but was able to get them off of youtube. Let me know how they work, as I have never used them, but was interested after seeing them. I am thinking about playing around for the family Thanksgiving get together.

Hi Teresa,
Just wanted to get back to you regarding the gelatin encapsulated flowers. It worked out pretty good...will say that I think I will plan on taking a class so that I can learn how to do it the right way but I attached a picture of my first trial. I did have some of the tools to shape different petals so I used more than just the syringes that you see them use on the websites. It was a lot of fun to do as well. Thanks again for your help with the recipe!
