Fondant Covered Cake Completely Wet??

I took my buttercreamed cake out of the fridge earlier then covered it in fondant, now its totally wet like its come through from underneath - will this dry out on its own, its never ever happened to me before im not sure what to do!

It should be just condensation? How long has it been sitting out?

It was about 2 hours ago when I covered it, its still just as wet!

Yeah it takes a while, especially if it's humid. Does it have something in it that needs to be refrigerated? As long as it's a reasonable temperature in your home it should be okay to sit on the counter.

Hi, thanks for that, I'll just be a bit more patient! Its only a sponge with buttercream filling so is fine to sit out, it is humid here today though so probably explains it, thank you xx
