I am making a cake for a 10 year old boy, who requested an orange bodied guitar with a tan neck and head. I made this from gumpaste and am going to place it on a round gumpaste plaque that covers the whole top of the cake. The plaque will be on a cake board that has parchment underneath it so it can be lifted off - this because the cake/frosting has to be sugar-free, so I can't decorate with the usual tools. Soooo, I have the above guitar, my letters are in a bright orange like the body of the guitar and I have some lime green music notes that I haven't decided if I'm going to use or not. My question - what color should I make the plaque? The frosting will be whipped cream so I know I can't get any bold color so I think I'll just leave it as is. Any ideas?

Thanks sooo much!!

Does your guitar have any other accent colors like black or brown? If so, I would use those.

Either way I would carry the color you pick down to the bottom of the cake in some way. I have attached a picture
