Relax...it looks really good. I think you're just at a point where you're thinking it looks awful, but everything will start coming together the more you do and the more detail you put on. Are your flowers good? Are they ready to go? The only 'help' I can offer is to perhaps make your bark gashes a little bit skinnier and smaller and perhaps adding a bit more. But your color is good, the texture looks good. I think you're panicking too early. You still have a long way to go and I think you're off to a good start! Really! thumbs_up.gif

Is that all buttercream? I think I would make the knots in the tree smaller. And if you are spraying it with color, once you put more gray on I bet it will look better. Hang in there! Wishing you the best!

Thanks guys. No i don't have an airbrush. it broke today icon_sad.gif Yes it is all buttercream. They only wanted that. So you think i should make the gashes smaller and fewer and then add more gray? Hmmm? how to add the gray is the question since my airbrush broke icon_sad.gif

I agree with both those comments, make the gashes thinner, not as deep, and spaced farther apart. I also noticed on the insertion cake the top of the "stump"has tree rings on it, maybe that will help bring it together more. But the color and texture looks great.
