I have a marines cake to do and I want to do the uniform, but I'm not sure how to make or if I can buy navy blue food coloring. Any suggestions?

You can use the Americolor Navy blue but you needs lots of it...You can also start with royal blue and add a touch of black.

Hello, made this cake quite a few years ago but used lots of americolor navy blue. Told the mom to remove buttercream or else everyone would have blue mouths and tongues! She said she wouldn't mind though. Here's the pic, hope you can see it or just go to my gallery. http://cakecentral.com/gallery/1343113/remembering-lance-cpl-marcus-cherry
