so i found this fabulous buttercream recipe and i love it so much. its for a 10 inch cake but i use it for cupcakes i usually have to make 2 separate batches in order to pipe on 24 cupcakes. if i was to just double everything and make one batch of buttercream would it make the frosting to sweet

its 2 cups of powder sugar
1 7 once jar marshmallow creme or fluff
1 cup of butter at room temp
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

so doubling it i would need 2 cups of butter
4 cups of sugar
2 7 ounce jars marshmallow
and 2 table spoons of vanilla extract
with a mixer cream butter until soft and creamy medium speed
add fluff mix well medium speed
then add powdered sugar and mix about 1-2 minutes medium speed
add vanilla and mix with a rubber spatula

Why would it be sweeter if you are doubling it? It's just two recipes prepared at the same time. I usually add in a good handful of popcorn salt when I am creaming the fats anyway if I'm using an American/crusting recipe.

Definitely wouldn't make it any sweeter, but make sure that your mixing bowl is big enough or you'll have stuff flying everywhere.
