I want to ask how to store liquor once it is opened and for how long?

You can just keep it in a cabnet. It will last forever. Or better yet, invite some friends over. That works well!

I have a rule never leave it a bottle with less than 1/4 in it . if its down that much jjust finish it.

but other than that i keep it as long it takes to drink or cook with it
