I received this picture from someone. And was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to achieve this color? I was thinking a little yellow and brown?

The lighting is making is very difficult to tell what colour it is. If it's lemon buttercream there may even be a hint of yellow in it. For cream coloured buttercream I just use real butter which gives it a nice cream colour. Good luck!

If you read all the comments you'll see the baker wrote that she didn't color it...it was just the color of the butter she used. I think that and the lighting makes it look more yellow than ivory

Cold-process buttercream (the recipe on the back of the powdered sugar box) made with real vanilla extract is naturally a cream color.

When I made that small, extra-stiff batch to write on the side of my father's birthday pound cake, I didn't bother with the vanilla, and it came out much lighter in color.
