I have. I was hoping it would be a time saver. I found I do not like the 'seam' that is left around the middle HOWEVER, it is perfect for portion control & gives you the general form, then I just moosh it a little & roll it a little more my palms & viola. I found when I did the first batch just using the baller they would get a crevice around the seam that would not look nice as the coating would not 'fill' it. HTH
I don't have this exact tool but I bought something very similar- a meatballer-and thought I'd post a tip I found very useful...if you find your cake pop/ball mixture to be sticking to the tool dip the tool in a cup of cornstarch (for white mixtures) or cocoa for chocolate, every few times you use it, works great and releases the ball easier and neater. HTH
Are you asking about the Cale Pop Roller?
I have one. Never got it to work properly.
I'll probably put it on Ebay.
My boss got one for me at work. I've found it to be very problematic. The other day I resorted to what someone earlier suggested, about using it to portion cake and then just roll them by hand. But even then I think it makes them a little smaller than I would like.
