I have a customer(friend) with a small budget($150) and wants a cake(for 50) for her husband's 40th bday that incorporates his love of golf, lacrosse, and the NY Yankees. She doesn't want a sheet cake but something 3d or tiered. I was thinking of putting a baseball cap on top of two tiers. One tier with lacrosse sticks around it and one tier with a golf scene. Then If I can find lacrosse figurines i was going to put that too. Any ideas??

Thanks

So funny I came across this....I just finished drawing plans for a golf cake for my husband's 60th birthday party! Of course, mine is strictly golf but I am using the paisley shaped pan to go a golf hole from tee box to green. May do an elevated green w/ a smaller pan but haven't decided yet! I have planned sand traps, trees and a water hazard complete w/ alligator w/ ball in his mouth! I need suggestions on how to do the alligator and instead of teeing off, I want the golfer breaking his club across his knees...any suggestions?

maybe you could make the alligator out of rice krispie treats? Have you looked online for golfer figurines?
