i have to wrap 1 Cor 13:4-7 and 3 words of vs 8 onto a wedding cake. This will be confusing to explain but ill try...the cake is square and it seems to me that it wont flow smoothly because its not round. (just my opinion) i dont know whether i should print the words at an angle going around the cake so it flows to each side going down and around the cake or just do each side straight. it seems it would get confusing to read around the cake. or maybe i should go down the cake filling up each side (all 3 tiers) then go to next side and fill it up. so that each side of the cake would be like a page to a book. Oh gosh its so confusing unless you see my paper. I have it all mapped out where everything should go so that "Love never fails." ends on the front bottom of the cake BUT it just doesnt look right going around and around the cake with straight lines...i just wondered what others opinion was.

If I'm imagining this correctly, I think I would opt for the italic versus the straight font. With the straight font I think it would look "cut off" at the corners. I'm not sure I would go down each tier though unless the quote was long enough to wrap around several times. Can you post a picture of which options you're considering? It might be easier to envision that way. HTH!

I think that if you go all the way down each side then it will be hard to get "love never fails" on the bottom front. Because the next whole side would be blank because the quote is over and that would look unbalanced. I think wraping around each tier is the way to go. Maybe only 3 of the sides though.
