My mother in law wants me to make and ship her an angel food cake. I can't imagine this going very well since I think of it as a very delicate cake! Any tips/ideas?

She wants an angel food cake with boiled icing. I'm thinking I should make the icing and ship it in a tupperware with the cake and have her frost it there? Or do you think it would be possible to frost it and send it?

How would you go about shipping this baby?
