Now that I have my Silhouette Cameo, I want to get a pasta roller to help with getting the gumpaste thin enough for the machine. Problem is, there's SO many out there to choose from! Which one do you have? Are there any that are wider than 6" that don't cost a frickin fortune?
Thanks!
I had a pretty inexpensive clay roller that served me decently until I started really using it - I've now ordered the KA pasta roller attachment and can't wait for it to get here.
Pasta sheets are 6", don't know why it's universal but it is. If you need something larger you are looking at getting a dough sheeter, and they are really $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I keep pricing 12" ones at the least expensive I've seen is $700.
Look on ebay. I found mine there a few yrs ago for pretty cheap. The brand is Atlas & it's 6 inches. I don't know if that's standard size or not. It's probably my most used cake tool!
This is the one I have:

I bought a regular pasta machine (manual) at Bed Bath & Beyond, not sure of the brand, but it works just fine. It has seven (7) settings and I can get my gumpaste really thing for my flowers.
I have an atlas with a motor really worth the money. If you are working close to your kitchen aid the. The k a attachment maybe the way to go I have used one before and it works very well
