Dear cc members,

I'm making a high heel shoe and cake box to feed 20 people what size pan should I use what size shoe would look good on top of it. I have to make a 5" heel and the templates that I found here look very small. Please help.

Thanks,
Angie

Angie.

If you need to make a shoe with a 5" heel then your talking life size and i doubt you will find a template for that.

We did one a while back and used a real stilleto shoe that we tore apart to use as a template and also as a support to dry the gumpaste on ( after covering it in cling film of course ).

Cake size for the box would have to be proportionate for the shoe to fit in it.

According to the recipe I use, 9"x6" would give you around 25 portions. The size of each portion is 2"x1".

Have you seen the Pink cake box Shoe and Box cake video? If not here it is.
