Hello all! I purchased my cricut machine a little while ago and when I first used it, it worked fine. Afterwards, it was tearing the fondant. So I tried gumpaste and it did the same. I also tried icing sheets (Wilton kind) and that just didnt work at all. Can anyone please help me with this issue? Possibly tell me what I am doing wrong? TIA

Check out Linda McClure's youtube videos. She's the originator of using electronic cutters for cake decorating. I've used her method with her gumpaste recipe and the premium frosting sheets from icingimages with great success.

Did you clean off the blade? If there were small pieces of fondant or gum paste on the blade that could cause a tear.
