Please help I have a container of Duff's Chocolate Fondant and it is DRY! Would someone please tell me what I can do to make it smooth? Of course it is for a cake in the morning please help.
Too dry to roll out. I have kneaded it longer that I normally would just to warm it up. When kneaded it it manly just crumbled.
Is it a new container or one you've used before? When you opened it was it well wrapped? Is it past it's best before date? Did you try putting it in the microwave for a few seconds to see if that helps?
Sounds to me like it might have dried out either because it is old or because it was improperly sealed.
I guess it must have been improperly sealed everything else checks out OK. I guess I will be rushing out in the morning to find more!
Did you put it in the microwave? Duffs Fondant needs to be micorwaved for like 20-30 seconds and it makes it much easier to work with
