Has anyone ever covered a cake in white fondant then airbrushed the entire cake with color. I have a client with food allergies so I had to buy liquid food color that is natural but I am afraid that if I add it to my buttercream then it will change the consistency of it. I was just wondering if it would just be easier to airbrush the color on. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

If it changes the consistency, just add more powdered sugar to your BC.

You can airbrush BC/fondant cakes... just do 2-3 light coats rather than a heavy coat which may run.
