Hey I have a quick question for any one who knows. I am in the process of getting my home kitchen registered with the state with that of course I have to submit my recipes.
My favorite cake recipes are just doctored up cake box mixes and they work great.
How do I word that on a recipe in a professional way? I really need to get these into the state so any help would be wonderful!
Thank you!

I have a book called Sweets: Soul food desserts & memories. A couple of recipes in the box call for a cake mix. She lists it in the ingredients like this:

1 (18.5 ounce) box cake mix, any flavor

or

1 (18.5 ounce) box chocolate cake mix (without pudding)

Then she just lists the rest of the ingredients and has directions for mixing the ingredients just like any recipe. It looks good to me.

HTH,
Natalie
