I want to make a wine barrel cake for my moms birthday. I'm not sure what cake pans I need to use... I need to feed 15 to 20 people.
Also does anyone have tips on carving the cake to give it that barrel look?
Covering in fondant would you cut strips out almost like wooden slats and place each individually or would you cover the cake fully and then make all the details?
