I am located in Michigan and I was just wondering where I can get the best prices on cake supplies by buying in bulk, I do not have a tax id number. Interested in cake boards, boxes, duncan hines cake mixes, fondant, etc. Thanks so much for the help!

Most wholesale places require proof of a business - Tax Id number, vendor's license, business cards, business checking. Once you establish that, you can look for a Restaurant Depot, BakeMark, Gordon Foods (GFS.)

If all you need is a federal tax ID number, you can use your social security number or apply for an EIN:
